Wat Umong, also known as the Tunnel Temple, is a 700-year-old Buddhist temple nestled in a peaceful forest at the base of Doi Suthep Mountain. Built during the reign of King Mangrai in the 13th century, Wat Umong is famous for its mysterious tunnels, serene lake, and tranquil atmosphere ideal for meditation and reflection.
