The Trincomalee War Cemetery is one of the six Commonwealth war cemeteries in Sri Lanka, maintained by the Commonwealth War Graves Commission. It is a peaceful and beautifully landscaped resting place for soldiers who lost their lives during World War II.
Located along the Nilaveli Road, the cemetery is surrounded by tall trees and calm sea breezes — offering a serene atmosphere for reflection. It is immaculately maintained, with rows of white gravestones standing in perfect symmetry, symbolizing honor and sacrifice.
