Palatine Hill is one of the most important archaeological sites in Rome and one of the city’s legendary seven hills. According to Roman mythology, this is where Romulus founded Rome in 753 BC. The hill later became the home of emperors and nobility, featuring grand palaces, gardens, and temples that still stand as symbols of Rome’s ancient glory.
