Moray

Moray is a unique archaeological site in Peru’s Sacred Valley, famous for its large circular terraces that descend into the ground like an amphitheater. The site is believed to have been an important Inca agricultural research center. The terraces demonstrate the Inca understanding of microclimates, as each level has slightly different temperatures that were likely used for crop experimentation.
