KL Bird Park

KL Bird Park is one of Kuala Lumpur’s most popular family-friendly attractions and is known as the world’s largest free-flight walk-in aviary. Located within the Perdana Botanical Gardens area, the park is home to thousands of birds from Malaysia and around the world. Visitors can enjoy close encounters with birds in a natural, open environment just minutes from the city center.

What to See & Do

  • 🦜 **Free-Flight Aviary (Zones 1 & 2)**: Walk among peacocks, storks, and crowned pigeons roaming freely in a massive netted canopy that mimics a tropical rainforest 🌿

  • 🦅 **Brahminy Land**: See the majestic Brahminy Kites (local birds of prey) and don’t miss the thrilling eagle feeding session 🦅
  • 🎭 **Bird Show & Amphitheatre**: Head to Zone 4 for daily performances featuring parrots and other feathered stars performing amazing stunts 🎪
  • 🛶 **Hornbill Park (Zone 3)**: Marvel at the majestic Rhinoceros Hornbill, one of the largest hornbill species in the world, in its naturalistic habitat 🌳

How to Get There

  • 🚕 **Ride-Hailing (Grab)**: The most convenient option. It’s a 10-15 minute drive from Bukit Bintang or KLCC areas 🚗
  • 🚆 **KTM Komuter**: Take the train to **Kuala Lumpur Station** (Old Station). From there, it’s a pleasant 10-15 minute walk or a very short taxi ride 🏁
  • 🚌 **KL Hop-On Hop-Off**: The city sightseeing bus stops directly at the Bird Park entrance (Stop No. 15) 🚍
  • 🅿️ **Parking**: Open-air parking is available directly outside the main entrance 🅿️
