- 10:00 AM – Arrive at the southern end of Hanamikoji Street and enter the Kennin-ji grounds through the north gate.
- 10:15 AM – Enter the Honbo (Abbot’s Quarters) to view the “Circle, Triangle, Square” garden and the stunning Wind and Thunder God screens.
- 10:45 AM – Head to the Dharma Hall (Hodo) and look up to experience the scale of the Twin Dragon ceiling painting.
- 11:30 AM – Exit toward the west gate to explore the nearby Yasui Konpira-gu “Breakup/Union” Shrine or return to Gion for a seasonal matcha dessert.
