De Oostvaarders Visitor Center serves as the main gateway to the Oostvaardersplassen
Nature Reserve, one of the Netherlands’ most famous rewilded landscapes. Located near
Almere, this modern visitor center offers interactive exhibits, observation decks, and
guided tours that introduce visitors to the region’s diverse wildlife, including wild horses,
red deer, and rare bird species. It’s the perfect starting point for exploring the vast
wetlands of Flevoland.
