The Cathedral of Saint Domnius is one of the oldest Catholic cathedrals still in use in the world.
Located inside Diocletian’s Palace, it was originally built as the mausoleum of Roman Emperor
Diocletian.
Today, the cathedral is a key religious and historical landmark in Split, known for its
Romanesque bell tower, ancient columns, and beautifully preserved interior.
