Bosco Fontana Nature Reserve is a protected woodland area located just north of Mantova. Spanning over 230 hectares, this lush forest is one of the few remaining examples of lowland woodland in the Po Valley. Once a royal hunting ground for the Gonzaga family, today it serves as a vital ecological sanctuary and a peaceful retreat for nature lovers, birdwatchers, and hikers.
