Aroumd Village is a traditional Berber settlement located high in the Atlas Mountains,
just above Imlil. Built from stone and earth, the village blends naturally into the
surrounding mountain landscape and offers an authentic glimpse into rural life in
Morocco’s high-altitude regions.
The village is surrounded by terraced fields, steep valleys, and mountain paths used by
locals for generations. Aroumd is often visited by trekkers heading toward Mount
Toubkal, but it remains peaceful and deeply rooted in traditional customs and
community life.
For travelers, Aroumd Village offers cultural insight, scenic walking routes, and
opportunities to experience Berber hospitality in a quiet mountain setting.
