Nearby Waterfalls

Nearby waterfalls around the Kjerag mountain area appear mainly during snowmelt and after heavy rainfall. These seasonal streams flow down steep rock faces, adding movement and sound to the otherwise rugged mountain landscape. Although many of the waterfalls are temporary, they create striking contrasts against the dark rock surfaces. They are especially scenic in late spring and early summer when water levels are highest.
