The Roll of Honour is one of the most powerful and emotional features of the Australian War Memorial in Canberra. It records the names of more than 100,000 Australian service members who lost their lives in wars, conflicts, and peacekeeping operations. Displayed on bronze panels lining the cloisters of the memorial, the Roll of Honour allows visitors to connect personally with Australia’s military history. Families, veterans, and travelers often pause here to reflect, remember, and pay their respects
