The North Gate, also called Anyuan Gate, is the historic northern entrance of the Xi’an City Wall. In ancient times, this gate played an important role in city defense and controlled access from the northern regions. Compared to the busier southern side, the North Gate area offers a calmer atmosphere. Visitors can enjoy a more peaceful experience while exploring the wall structure and surrounding city views.
