Located near Trincomalee, Seruwila Mangala Raja Maha Viharaya is one of Sri Lanka’s most sacred Buddhist temples, said to enshrine sacred relics of the Buddha. This historic temple attracts thousands of devotees and pilgrims each year.
Surrounded by paddy fields and calm landscapes, the temple complex offers a peaceful environment ideal for meditation and reflection. It is also one of the Solosmasthana (16 sacred places) in Sri Lanka.
