The Kurazukuri Museum, also known as the Kurazukuri Shiryokan, is dedicated to preserving Kawagoe’s iconic clay-wall warehouse architecture. Once a merchant’s storehouse, the building survived a major fire in 1893, showcasing the durable “kurazukuri” construction style that defines Kawagoe’s historic cityscape.
