Tissamaharama Lake (Tissa Wewa) is one of Sri Lanka’s most peaceful lakes, built by ancient kings. With lotus flowers floating across its calm waters and white stupas in the distance, it’s a photographer’s dream and a spiritual escape.

  • 🚆 By Train: Matara is the nearest railway station, from where you can take a taxi or bus to Tissamaharama.
