Located just behind the Temple of the Tooth, Udawatta Kele Sanctuary is a forest reserve filled with greenery, birds, and walking trails. Once used as the royal forest of the Kandyan kings, today it’s a peaceful escape for nature lovers and birdwatchers. The forest canopy, calm atmosphere, and narrow paths make it a great place to unwind within the city.
