Horton Plains National Park, located near Ohiya in the Central Highlands, is one of Sri Lanka’s most stunning UNESCO World Heritage Sites. It’s famous for World’s End, a sheer 870 m drop offering breathtaking views over misty valleys and forests. Visitors can walk along scenic trails through grasslands, cloud forests, and sparkling streams — a paradise for nature lovers, hikers, and photographers.

  • 🚌 Public Transport: Buses operate up to Pattipola; a tuk-tuk can be hired from there 🛺.
