The Gadaladeniya Vihara, also near Pilimathalawa, is a 14th-century Buddhist temple built entirely of granite. It’s known for its South Indian-style architecture, large seated Buddha statue, and surrounding mountain views. This peaceful temple is part of the famous “Three Temples Route” along with Lankatilaka and Embekka.
