Wat Phanan Choeng, one of the oldest active temples in Ayutthaya, is home to a magnificent 19-meter-tall seated golden Buddha statue known as ‘Luang Pho Tho.’ Built in 1324—before the founding of Ayutthaya—it remains a living center of Buddhist worship and pilgrimage.
