The Baths of Caracalla (Terme di Caracalla) are among the most impressive and best-preserved ruins of ancient Rome. Built between 212 and 216 AD by Emperor Caracalla, this vast complex could accommodate more than 1,500 bathers at once. It served as a social and cultural hub for Romans, offering not only baths but also libraries, gyms, and gardens.
