Piazza dei Cavalieri, or the Knight’s Square, is one of Pisa’s most elegant and historically significant squares. Once the political center of medieval Pisa, it later became the headquarters of the Order of the Knights of St. Stephen. Today, it is surrounded by Renaissance palaces, sculptures, and academic institutions, including the renowned Scuola Normale Superiore.
