Quattro Canti

Quattro Canti, also known as Piazza Vigliena, is one of Palermo’s most iconic landmarks and a masterpiece of Baroque urban design. Located at the intersection of Via Vittorio Emanuele and Via Maqueda, this symmetrical square marks the exact center of Palermo’s historic old town. Its four beautifully decorated facades represent the four seasons, the four Spanish kings of Sicily, and the four patron saints of the city’s quarters.
