La Casona de Santa Rosa is one of Costa Rica’s most significant historical sites, located within Santa Rosa National Park in Guanacaste. This restored 19th-century ranch house commemorates the Battle of Santa Rosa (1856), where Costa Rican forces defended national sovereignty.

Today, it serves as both a museum and cultural monument surrounded by dry tropical forest, wildlife, and hiking trails.
