Santa Rosa National Park, located in the northwestern Guanacaste Province of Costa Rica, is a UNESCO World Heritage Site known for its dry tropical forests, pristine beaches, and historical significance. Established in 1971, it was the first national park in Costa Rica and preserves the site of the Battle of Santa Rosa — a key event in Costa Rican independence history.
