The Ramesseum is the mortuary temple built by Pharaoh Ramses II, one of ancient Egypt’s most powerful rulers. Located on Luxor’s West Bank, the site once served as a grand memorial to the pharaoh’s reign. Although partially ruined, the Ramesseum still features impressive columns, courtyards, and reliefs depicting military victories and religious ceremonies.
